Longest Female Legs - Svetlana Pankratova

A Russian woman, Svetlana Pankratova hold the title of having the world’s longest female legs by verifying as measuring her legs 132 cm, 4 feet 4 inches long according to Guinness Book of World Records.

Svetlana Pankratova, a 41-year-old a Russian native who has 4 feet 4 inches long legs of her 6-foot 5-inch frame. She was born on April 29, 1971, grew up in Volgograd in Russia and she was always a tallest one among others of her age since her childhood. But she never noticed about her long legs until she was a teen and it was a challenge for her to purchase clothes likes pants. She said that “I never thought about it when I was growing up, I just never paid attention to my legs”.

She contacted the Guinness Book of World Records to confirm the claim after showing the news story featuring a British woman who claimed to have the world’s longest legs for a woman by one of Svetlana‘s friend. “It took six years, a lot of documentation and plenty of emails and calls to prove that she had the longest legs. ‘It’s not like I was always on top of it”. She said.

Currently, Pankratova works as the assistant coach for the George Mason Mustangs, one of Virginia’s top girls’ basketball programs. The job is very much suit for her, who was a former member of the Russian national basketball team. She is really pleased with her job as she mentioned that, “It was great to get back to basketball and I really do enjoy it and it brings all the nice memories back and I just enjoy giving them what I know to help them any way I can.”

She is married to Jack Gosnell, whom she met while he was working as the U.S. General Counsel in St. Petersburg, during her basketball years.

Longest Snake Ever in Captivity - Medusa

A python named as Medusa recorded to the Guinness world records 2013 by holding a title called longest snake ever in captivity. She is long 7.67 meters (25 feet 2 inches) and weighs 158.8 kilogram (350-pound) and needs at least 15 people to hold her.

This Python owned by Full Moon Productions in Kansas City, Missouri, USA. The reptile, lives in the Edge of Hell haunted house attraction in Kansas City, and it needs about 40lb animal in a week but could easily eat something weighing more than 100lbs.

The python’s diet consists of a mixture of rabbits, hogs and deer, served to her every two weeks. The 8 years old reptile is known as ‘the sloppiest eater within attraction’, who accidentally bite into herself instead of her dinner.

According to Medusa's handler and Edge of Hell's general manager, Larry Edgar, "We try to keep Medusa well-fed and slightly out of reach as there have been instances with Reticulated Pythons where they've had to cut people out of them! We never underestimate that she does always have the upper-hand."

Medusa inherits the title from the previous record holder, Fluffy, another Reticulated Python from Ohio's Columbus Zoo who measured in at 24 ft long. The reptile was 18 years old and still 24 ft long and died of an apparent tumor.

The Reticulated Python species dates back to the prehistoric era and is one of the largest snakes on the globe.

The World’s Longest Female Tongue Holder

Can you believe that there's a woman with a tongue measuring 9.75 cm (3.8 inches) from tip to top lip. Yes. Having a 9.75 cm long tongue nearly which is double form the normal size is incredible. Her name is Chanel Tapper, a student who lives in California, USA. She is the current world record holder for the world’s longest female tongue.

 

Tapper’s record breaking tongue is around the same length as an iPhone. She told that it's her normal tongue and she was born with it. First she realized that she has a long tongue when she was eight years old from a photograph. The photograph was taken when Tapper and her mom went out for the Halloween. After the photos were printed she noticed that she had a longue tongue compared to others. But it became apparent in her middle school when more people commenting on it.

Tapper always keep conscious on her long tongue as some people think it is nasty. Some girls and women scream when they see it. But for most people it's a rare experience and they ask Tapper to show it again and again.

She was excited when she found out that she was appeared in the Guinness world record book. Further she mentioned that she is happy because there are some people that only remember her because of her long tongue.

World's Longest Domestic Cat - Stewie

A cat named as Stewie, is more incredible than other cats in the world. Stewie is a just five year old cat from Nevada, United States and it is the current world record holder for the world’s longest domestic cat. The average cat spans 18 inches normally but Stewie is length more than 30.5 inches from average.

Five year old Maine Coon Stewie has record 48.5 inches from the tip of his nose to the tip of his tail bone. That is a little more than 4 feet long which was amazing.

The previous record holder was another Maine Coon that measured 48 inches who was half an inch shorter. It was owned by Frieda Ireland of Chicago.

The owners of Stewie, Robin Hendrickson and Erik Brandsness decided to present five year old Stewie to the record after hearing and amazing countless people’s remark on his length.

Stewie is one of the Maine Coon variety and Maine Coons are known as 'the gentle giants' of the cat world.

Mother with the Longest Interval between Kids

On average your younger sister or brother may be younger around 5 or 10 years than you. If so it’s a normal thing. But have you ever heard that there is sister, whose brother is 41 years younger than her. How incredible is it?

Elizabeth Ann Buttle is known as the mother with the longest interval between kids. Currently she holds the world record for the longest interval between the births of two children.

She had two kids named Belinda and Joseph, which is nothing special in itself. But the incredible part is the interval between the birth of Belinda and Joseph. It is the world’s longest interval between births ever.

Elizabeth Ann Buttle’s first child, Belinda Buttle was born on May 19, 1956 when Elizabeth Ann Buttle was 19. Then her second child, Joseph Buttle was born on November 20, 1997 when Elizabeth Ann Buttle was 60. An interval between them is 41 years and 185 days. This long period between their births has made Belinda Buttle old enough to be a Joseph Buttle’s grandmother.
